It can be a “remedy” for anything… injury, sickness, health, beauty, etc! I love finding out about new and interesting home remedies that I never would think of!

For a cold.
Bring to boil a cup of Coca Cola (regular). Pour in a cup. Add some sliced ginger and a teaspoon of Manuka Honey. Give it a stir.
The sugar and caffeine in the coke gives you energy, the honey soothes the throat, and the ginger helps to clear the sinuses as well as makes you sweat.
1.) Lemon juice put in a spray bottle with half water can kill fleas on your pets and in your home and Dawn Liquid Detergent can be used as well to kill fleas on cats
2.) Black pepper, cayenne pepper and hot water mixed together can clear up mucus in the nostrils and respiratory tract.
3.) Jasmine rice put into a clean sock then tied can be heated and used for cramps associated with your period.
4.) Mint Julep mud mask can be used to stop the swelling and itching associated with insect bites.
5.) Using a soft toothbrush on your lips helps to remove chapped and dead skin
6.) Raw potatoes sliced can be used a cleaning pads for the face
7.) Olive oil can be used to moisturize the hair so can avacados . Avacados work well on the face too.

For a sore throat:
Hot water mixed with apple cider vinegar and honey. It tastes kind of vile, but the vinegar helps sooth the throat. The honey help the taste and adds moisture and the hot water helps make it feel better too. You just sip it slowly. It does work.
My grandfather taught me a remedy for the hiccups.
He took a glass of water [ No bottles ]
Took a paper towel, and put the paper towel over the drinking part of the cup.
Take a few sips, and the hiccups seem to be gone instantly
My favorite is pouring white vinegar over your sunburn. It helps relieve the pain and it really works.
