Question by NI DM: What skin care works better?
I am a 13 year old girl and have stupid breakouts ( = [ ) every. single. day. And, come on who wants to have a break out? So Ive been wondering what skin care works best? I already tried Neutrogena but I was wondering… does Proactive work? Clearisil? Any reccomendations? Any “home treatments” that work well? Please please please share! =P

proactive works at first and then stops but try differin from ur dematologist

  2. Ashley O says:

    proactive sucks monkey butt’s.

    use triclear.

order it online, its not well known but it works wonders.
    use all 3 steps.

  3. Brittany says:

Proactive works, but it really really dries out the skin. Clean & Clear works well if you don’t want to spend too much , but if you’re willing to spend some money, then Clinique is the best

  4. The Wave by Neutrogena. Also I like to use Oatmeal.
Milk and Honey do wonders for me! Apricot Scrub. That’s to get rid of your blemishes.

    okay…
Proactive=didnt work for me or alot of my friends…just made our skin dryer, flakier, and we still had the brake outs.
    ————————-
Clearasil=is really good…probably the best or 2nd to best.
    ————————-
Clean and Clear=i personally think this is the best, and t doesn’t cost as much.
<3 hope i helped! good lukk

  6. I’m 16 and I’m still undergoing acne. Personal experience, Proactiv has given me more pimples than I already had. Olay doesn’t really work for me, I think because its weak. If you use toothpaste (spot treatment), it will dry out your pimple, make it smaller, but give you a scar. Currently I just stopped using Proactiv and I’m starting Clearasil. I know everyone wants a affordable acne treatment but really, it all DEPENDS on your skin honey. Everyones skin is different because EVERYONE is different. I say, just try some over the counter stuff that has gotten a lot of reviews like Neutrogena/Clean & Clear.

  7. CLEAN AND CLEAR TESTS ON ANIMALS

Clearisil with the scrub toner and moisterizer and quick zapper work best for alot of my friends and the mint julep mask from sally’s beauty supply is amazing

you have had the skin care remedy all alone, but never gave it much thought.you have to put good food in your body and drink water at all times.bad diets fuel acne.stay away from alot of sugars, sodas, and replace them with that water.veges, fruits, and a lot of fiber is good.toxins build in the body.when the kidneys and liver are overloaded with toxins, the toxins start coming through your skin.cleanse your face at least twice a day.you will see your skin clear up,if you just change a few things.good blessings.

For best results I would seek a dermatologists opinion. They can often prescribe a treatment plan designed specifically for your needs. When I was your age I used differin with success but there are many options available.
