I found a good cure at the health food store. Get Uva Ursi, it is a liquid, and you put so many drops under your tongue, and it really works!! It is a bit bitter, but its the first thing I reach for when I get a bladder infection. My daughter uses it as well. Hope it works for you, and take care.

See a doctor! Dark urine? You could have hepatitis!

I think it’s time to give up on the home remedies and see a doctor. If macrobid has been prescribed for you, take it as directed and don’t stop until it’s gone. If you’re taking it on your own because you THINK you have a bladder infection, you better see your doctor to be sure.

apparentally you have been treating yourself for this condition. buy uristat at a pharmacy, itls over the counter and for females. it works for men also and does not have side effects. good luck.

If Macrobid doest clear it up, then it might not be a bladder infection- liver failure and other things may trigger dark urine as well! See a doctor asap!
