Question from a Reader, Answers in Comments
My dog has several small red dots or spots on my german shepherds stomach. We just sprayed our yard with something to help with weeds. We are pretty sure that the spots are from that, so is there any home remedies that could help cure these “spots”?

I have some large weeds that I would like to get rid of. Is there any home remedy to kill weeds that will not harm dogs? I hate weeds!
[
home remedy queen] I have a couple for you that may work. The first comes by my grandmother who used to use this method in her garden and it’s pretty simple. Boil a tea kettle full of water. While the water is boiling go out and pour a heavy layer of salt around the root area of the weeds. When the water is boiling, pour directly on where you poured the salt. The weeds will die quickly.
Another good home remedy is to use full strength vinegar and spray it on the weeds. Do it in the early morning on a day with no rain predicted. The sun and vinegar will work together and kill the weeds quickly.
Or you can do it the old fashioned way and just up the darned things! More good hints below for you under comments!!!!
