This is a user driven website and if you want to know if the hotel you’re considering snapping up that deal on at Priceline or Expedia has a secret bed bug problem – take a little surf over to the Bed Bug Registry – we got our own lovely little bed bug infestation staying in a nice hotel in Cleveland and upon checking the Bed Bug Registry – you betcha the Hyatt Regency is listed.

Cincinnati must be crushed – apparently New York City has stolen their (cough cough) coveted title of “Bed Bug Capitol of the World” and everywhere from Victoria’s Secret in Manhattan to the basement of Empire State Building appears to be infested.

I know we managed to get them when we booked a room in really snazzy hotel and brought the little critters home in our luggage. I nearly fainted when I got quotes from pest removal companies and I decided maybe bed bugs could be a DIY type of thing.
I did a lot of research on the net and found a guide that really helped – for less than $20.oo I learned to get rid of bed bugs and send those annoying little critters packing! You can see my Fun with Bed Bugs page here.

We left for our honeymoon and was gone for 2 weeks, came home and poof, our house is infested with bed bugs and we don’t have money to spend on a terminator. Any suggestions please. We have tried bug bombing the house and it did not work.

We recently had an icky case of bed bugs spread through out house and we had to go to a 5-star hotel to get them – we try hard.
Then I found out how astronomical getting an exterminator to come out to our home was and THEN I found out they didn’t even guarantee the bed bugs would be gone.
Sheesh!
So we looked online for a guide on how to do it ourselves and we found a CHAMP of a guide called “Remove Bed Bugs” it was written by an exterminator and it showed us how to find the critters, all their hiding places around the house and how to get rid of them permanently because pesticides really don’t work so you have to use other methods.
