I get a lot of requests from people wondering how to make fabric softener at home – here is one that I use and you can make it and then tweak the recipe to suit your own needs – I tend to add a bit more essential oil myself PLUS i can show you how to make your own homemade natural Febreeze using this recipe!
How To Make Fabric Softener

How to Make Fabric Softener
Things Needed
  • Baking soda
  • Distilled White Vinegar
  • Water
  • Essential Oil (optional)
  • Large Bucket/ Container
Instructions
  • First of all, you need to get a large bucket or container, which is enough to hold atleast one gallon of fluid.
  • Put 1 cup baking soda in your bucket or container. Thereafter, add 1 cup of water to it.
  • Next, you need to pour in 6 cups of distilled white vinegar. Pour the vinegar very slowly, on the soda-water mixture.
  • You will notice fizz forming in the bucket/ container, because of vinegar reacting with baking soda.
  • Let the mixture fizz for a few minutes.
  • Add 6 cups of water to the mixture. With this, the fizzing process will come to an end.
  • With help of a large stick, mix the ingredients properly.
  • Next, add 10-15 drops of pure essential oil. It will help give the fabric softener a pleasant scent.
  • Your fabric softener is ready! All you need to do is put it in a clean container of your choice and store properly.

Enjoy!

Is There A Home Remedy To Getting Rid Of Stretch Marks?

Thursday, September 10th, 2009

is there any mixtures that you can make up at your house that will reduce the appearance of stretch marks? I know you can go buy lotions and stuff that claim to help it but I’m not sure if it actually does. Also if there is anyway to get rid of cellulite at home too with remedies please let me know too. I may just go and try the creams and see if the work , but I would rather try home remedies first. thanks :]
