Why can’t you wait a few days to goget toothpaste from the pet store?
Regular toothpaste is fine, I think.
u dont need to brush its teeth give it sum thing to help
Regular toothpaste is not fine and can cause your pet to vomit. That is why they make specialty toothpaste for pets, right now just use a warm facecloth to get your pet used to the idea or your finger. It takes time with pets like kids to get them used to having their teeth brushed.
get some pet toothpaste from the store and a finger brush. make sure to feed your cat quality dry food. I recomend, natural choice complete cat care indoor.
Ask your vet these questions, especially before trying to use things that could possibly harm them.
I know that baking soda & water solution can be used for humans in the place of tums or rolaids, occasionally, and soda can be used by humans as a toothpaste, once or twice, if you run out, but, not for prolonged use because of it being harmful to the enamel…
So, with all that in mind, I know I wouldnt want to use that stuff in my pets mouth, knowing they swallow everything!
The thing is, toothpastes at the pet store cost only a few bucks, and its made especially for them, and in flavors that are pleasing to their palete, so just take the safe way and use what is made for them.
Pull it’s teeth out, you won’t have to worry about it then!
