    Life Extension Foundation Recommendations
People who suffer from a yeast infection or are at high risk for a yeast infection may want to make lifestyle changes that have been shown to reduce the risk and severity of yeast infections. The following lifestyle modifications may be effective (Hudson T 2003):
    Reducing or avoiding refined sugar
Avoiding foods with a high yeast content
Eating 8 oz yogurt daily to restore normal flora in the digestive tract (especially beneficial with oral or vaginal yeast infections)
    Getting ample sleep
    Losing weight if necessary
    Keeping affected areas dry
    Avoiding tight clothing and pantyhose
In addition, the following nutrients may help reduce the risk and severity of candida infections.
Probiotics—up to 900 milligrams (mg) daily of beneficial bacteria, including lactobacillus and bifidobacterium strains
    Fructooligosaccharides—up to 4 grams (g) daily
    Goldenseal—250 to 750 mg daily
    Lactoferrin—300 mg daily
Topical tea tree oil—Follow label directions
    Oil of oregano—460 mg daily
    Garlic—600 mg daily kyolic garlic
Boric acid in a topical solution has been shown to help cure fungal infections (Jovanovic R et al 1991; Sobel JD et al 2003; Guaschino S et al 2001). One study found that doses of 600 mg daily for two to three weeks were effective in about 65 percent of women with vaginal candida infections (Sobel JD et al 2003).

You can also take probiotics (acidolpholus). These are the “good” bacteria you need in your system. They are available over the counter, in health food stores, and in places like Trader Joe’s.

I had this problem for a long time could quite figure out why they kept coming back. turned out i was allergic to yeast and the Candida infection was in my intestines as well. i had to go on a strict diet that include no yeasty food and no sugar ( sugar feeds yeast) i had to rebuild and clean my immune system with tons of vitamins and colostrum. if you continue to get them i suggest to check into this!

I actually had this problem, tried all the natural products and the best answer for me was monistat 7 day as I had a miserable case and that was the only way and I always try natural first but being that candida proliferates in a dark, warm, moist environment cotton underwear is important and all bacteria thrive off of an environment with sugar so decrease until you can eliminate it all together

Apple vinegar douche- 1 cup apple vinegar/4 cups water, makes 2 douches. Use it every morning (and night if needed) for 3 days.
A clove of garlic wrapped in some nylon or cheese cloth. Insert in the vagina befor going to bed and leave in until morning…it doesnt cause it to smell, dont worry. Garlic is FULL of natural antibiotics. Soaking a tampon in garlic oil and inserting it for a few hours can also work.

Alex F seems to have the best answer to that so far. Here is the link to his answer on another question:http://sg.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind…
At our house we use grapefruit seed extract, biotin and eliminate sugar. It is very effective for yeast overgrowth here, but we have not had to battle the candida bugger. That is very hard to deal with, and that is why I’m sending you to Alex’s answer.
